After the last few months of Christmas cheer and summer fun it may be now time to get serious about your health. It’s hard to get back into the healthy eating routine and to break bad habits. However, a good place to start any health regime is to take part in a detox.
Detoxification helps to clear the liver and bowel of toxins which have been gradually building up, making you sluggish, tired, constipated, and prone to infections, with poor skin, poor sleep, and generally feeling not quite right.
The detoxification process can be as long or short as you need. The process is focused on clearing the diet of food which can be harmful and difficult to digest, using fresh food and juices for their cleansing effect, utilising liver cleansing herbal medicines and supplements, and adding in a few lifestyle changes.
One week is a minimum amount of time to detox seriously, however if you have a weekend spare I can organise a spring clean for your entire system. There are a variety of detox protocols to suit the individual and their circumstances.
